It’s time to take a break from talking about our technology to celebrate one of our own. Latium is a great business not only because we offer a great product and great services, but most importantly, because we have wonderful people. And those wonderful people haven’t gone unnoticed.

In November of last year, we received some amazing news: Latium’s president Lori Pecorilli was nominated for the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs Celebration of Achievement award. This award pays tribute to exceptional female entrepreneurs who are inspirational leaders, and who act as role models for women in business.

In addition to the fact that Lori is a successful business leader, she also has some very special qualities. Here are just a few more reasons why Lori was nominated:

Lori leads with great respect for all Latium employees and believes in mentorship and empowerment. She also works hard to foster a trusting, comfortable and open environment.  In addition, as a community minded business leader, Lori—and Latium as a whole—supports numerous not-for-profit organizations including:

  • The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts
  • Ducks Unlimited
  • The Rotary Club
  • Little Warriors
  • Santa’s Anonymous
  • And the Christmas Bureau

Not only are these causes meaningful, but many Alberta women are deeply involved as directors and board members, and carry a lot of influence. Lori has experienced first-hand how these incredible people work together to get behind these causes to make Alberta a better place.

The Latium team would like to congratulate Lori on her nomination!
